Grade A seismic rating

The hotel underwent extensive seismic strengthening in 2018, with approximately $6.5 million invested in the works. As a result, the property achieved a Grade A seismic rating. This rating has been reaffirmed in an updated Detailed Seismic Assessment report dated May 2025.

Newly renovated rooms product

The hotel has recently undergone renovation works to refresh the rooms product which has added significant value and appeal to the property. The renovation included new paint and carpeting in all rooms, as well as adding new TVs, premium beds and Dyson Hot+Cool fans. Additionally, the hotel’s public areas and food & beverage offerings were significantly upgraded in 2020/2021.

Availability of vacant possession

There is the ability to terminate the existing management agreement on sale, an attractive proposition for investors, owner-operators or developers looking to reposition the hotel.
